Mobility Data Space:
the data space for future mobility
The Mobility Data Space is the data sharing community for anyone who wants to make mobility more eco- and user-friendly, safer and fair.
The Mobility Data Space (MDS) brings together companies, organizations and institutions who want to monetize their data or need data for innovative mobility solutions.
The Mobility Data Space is funded by the Federal Ministry of Digital Affairs and Transport (BMDV). It is part of the European cloud initiative Gaia-X. By the end of 2023, the MDS will integrate Mobilithek, a platform for the exchange of digital information primarily from the public sector.
The holding company of the Mobility Data Space is the non-profit organisation DRM Datenraum Mobilität GmbH, which emerged from a project run by the acatech Foundation.
